The International Special Events Society has revealed a number of new initiatives and event collaborations at the association's AGM at Dutch Hall on 16 July.

Gateshead Council and North Music Trust have decided to withdraw their Arts Council England funding application to develop enhanced conference, exhibition and music facilities at Sage Gateshead.
