Earls Court owner Capital and Counties (CapCo) has insisted significant progress is being made towards the site’s redevelopment in its latest interim management statement.

The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham (LBHF) council has appointed fraud investigators from advisory firm Deloitte following allegations it offered preferential treatment to local residents for supporting its Earls Court redevelopment scheme.

One of two local councils accused of unlawfully adopting a planning guideline for the redevelopment of Earls Court has committed to vigorously defending its actions in court.

A High Court judge has called for a hearing into the policy document underpinning Earls Court's redevelopment after local residents issued a legal challenge against the councils who approved it.
