Transport for London (TfL) has revealed that 9 December will be the last day for the Olympia weekday tube service.

Earls Court and Olympia owner Capital and Counties (CapCo) has played down the risk of delay to Earls Court’s redevelopment after legal proceedings were launched against the company’s plans.

A campaigner fighting to retain the Olympia tube has found a document that he claims proves London Underground planned to cut the weekday service before the consultation process to save money.

Transport for London (TfL) has confirmed it will axe weekday tube services to Kensington (Olympia) from December as part of an overhaul of the District Line.
