Informa’s new group chief executive Stephen Carter has set out “two over-arching challenges” for the publishing and events firm for 2014, following the publication of the firm's latest annual results.

UBM has said its trading in the fourth quarter has been “as anticipated” with 2013 full year reported revenues to be approximately £800m, “in line with market expectations”.
