Earls Court and Olympia (EC&O) has downplayed a special event tube service for 20 Olympia shows for the next six months after negotiations with Transport for London.

Transport for London (TfL) has revealed that 9 December will be the last day for the Olympia weekday tube service.

Two London councils have released the next stage of consultation for the area surrounding the proposed Earls Court development.

Earls Court and Olympia owner Capital and Counties (CapCo) has played down the risk of delay to Earls Court’s redevelopment after legal proceedings were launched against the company’s plans.

A campaigner fighting to retain the Olympia tube has found a document that he claims proves London Underground planned to cut the weekday service before the consultation process to save money.

Diversified's MD Carsten Holmes has hit out against the Government’s failure to protect Earls Court and ensure the future of the events industry in a sharp letter to London Mayor Boris Johnson.
