The organiser of Publishing Expo, Legend Exhibitions, is to move its 2011 show from Olympia 2 exhibition hall to the “bigger more modern” north hall of Earls Court 2.
The 2010 exhibition, held from 24 to 25 February at the original venue, was hailed by its organiser as the most successful to date with over 3,300 publishing professionals attending the show.
“We are acutely aware from our research and industry feedback that with the increased numbers attending the show and suppliers wanting to exhibit, Olympia 2 was not big enough and did not have the right image for the show,” says event director, Nick Field. “The move to a new modern venue will allow us to give visitors and exhibitors a more comfortable, rewarding, and enjoyable experience.”
Key to the expansion will be extended seminar theatres as, according to the organiser, many visitors had to stand at this year’s event.
The 2011 exhibition will be held from 1 to 2 March.
Running the Pyongyang Marathon, or skiing on North Korea’s uncrowded mountain slopes will be on offer at a leading travel exhibition after Reed Exhibitions secured the notable exhibitor coup of the secretive global power.
