This year’s edition of Reed Exhibitions’ Offshore Europe exhibition and conference will for the first time include pavilions from Brazil, the Northern Territory of Australia, Finland, Greenland and Malaysia.
Also exhibiting for the first time will be the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment of the Russian Federation.
“To have a new pavilion from Malaysia, a country in the midst of a region with the fastest-growing energy demand in the world, shows the diversity and global reach that is now part and parcel of Offshore Europe as it continues to evolve,” said exhibition director Elaine Hulse.
Running from 6 to 8 September 2011 at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, the show will occupy 25,000sqm and expects to bring 1,500 exhibiting companies. This represents a 10 per cent rise in space over the 2009 show, which was itself a record-breaker.
The show cut its length from four to three days to accommodate the Walker Cup golf tournament.
