The organiser of The Energy Event has put together a new Water Efficiency Zone in a bid to tackle rising concerns around water management.
The I2i Events Group has partnered with Waterwise and Water Efficient Solutions to launch the new area at this year’s show, which runs from 11 to 12 September at The NEC. This year’s Energy Event will be co-located with the inaugural The Renewables Event, aimed at businesses and the public sector.
The two shows will also be held alongside the longer-established RWM in partnership with CIWM, which runs until 13 September. I2i expects to attract 20,000 visitors to this year’s three shows.
“Water is a precious resource and now more than ever, greater support is needed for those companies that want to manage this resource more efficiently,” i2i Events Group divisional MD Alison Jackson said. “The Water Efficiency Zone aims to combine leading innovations, ideas and concepts that bring together professionals looking to source water efficiency products and solutions.
“I am proud we have made this extra commitment to our exhibitors and visitors.”

The I2i Events Group, formerly Emap Connect, acquired the Energy Event portfolio from Western Business Media in 2010.
