coronation street rovers ideal home show

The Ideal Home Show has announced a brand partnership with long-running British soap opera Coronation Street (Corrie) for its 2011 edition.

Show organiser Media 10 will be able to use Corrie branding and set design at this year’s show, which runs from the 11 to 27 March.

It will also be entitled to use Corrie branding and artwork on the Ideal Show Homes section of the event onsite, and branding on product, retail, outdoor, and multiplatform marketing channels, as well as across all marketing and PR event promotion.

“This is a pairing of two of the nation's favourite brands, through what will be a highly visible promotional partnership,” said director of promotions at ITV Studios Global Entertainment, Corine Pouvreau Miles. “Corrie fans will also have the chance to win tickets to the event through joint website promotions with our TV sponsor, Harveys the furniture store.”

The event will also host special guest appearances of past and current Corrie cast members over the course of its 17-day tenure at Earls Court, London.
