National Wedding Show Quickka Events iphone app

Organiser Ocean Media has signed an agreement with Quickka Events to create a mobile device app for all four National Wedding Shows in the UK.

The app will be designed for the iPhone, Android and Windows platforms and will be downloadable for free through the relevant app stores and show website. The key features of the app have yet to be disclosed.

“We look forward to working with event director Ashley Roberts, and his team in delivering the mobile application,” said Quickka Events’ commercial director Karen Krieger. “Visitors attending this event are planning the biggest day of their lives so by giving them a great interactive tool and easy access to information we're able to offer visitors much more.

“Ocean Media are focused on increasing the visitor experience and certainly through using the analytics tool we provide they will understand more about visitor interests,” she added.

“As the UK’s largest wedding show, we are constantly striving to meet the demands of the modern bride and the app is our next development. We are looking forward to developing the app with Quickka and offering brides even better interaction and direction around the show,” said Marketing Manager for Ocean Media, Gabi Webb.
