The producer of entertainment technology exhibition PLASA, which takes place at Earls Court on 11-14 September, has signed an agreement with the organiser of Australian show ENTECH 2011 to produce an educational programme at this year's event.

This year's ENTECH 2011, which takes place at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on 19-21 July 2011 will include PLASA's stream in its educational programme, including speakers from PLASA's global membership base. More than 4,000 visitors are expected to register for ENTECH 2011.

PLASA is an international association for people who supply technologies and services to the event, entertainment and installation industries. The company's CEO Matthew Griffiths said: "We are pleased to be involved in one of the premium industry events in Australia. We see this alliance as a great opportunity to support the future development of our industry in the Australian and New Zealand regions."

"Having PLASA onboard will take the visitor and exhibitor experience at ENTECH up a notch," said ENTECH's CEO, Jodie Richmond. "We promised to deliver an outstanding educational program, now we are in a position to be announcing the details of the sessions shortly." .

PLASA also produces a series of regional events under the PLASA Focus banner.

PLASA announced plans for stronger international cooperation for its 2011 exhibition.
