The 2012 edition of the Gastech exhibition and conference will take place at Excel London, following its recent outing at Amsterdam RAI in the Netherlands.

Running from 8 to 11 October 2012, the DMG-organised peripatetic event is expected to bring up to £44m to the capital's economy, in the year London hosts the Olympic Games.

“Our research has identified London as a location where you could be absolutely confident that all major players would be present,” said DMG executive VP Jason Franks. “London is a truly global capital city, a transport hub and the home of many of the world’s leading gas businesses.”

DMG this year reported a 37 per cent decline in revenue, due to absence of results from Gastech and petroleum Adipec both shows having strong results in 2010.
