ITE Moda claims its Bubble London kids trade show saw an exhibitor and visitor increase year-on-year.
The organiser reported a 26 per cent rise in stands sold, with 250 brands participating in the two-day event. Visitor footfall also increased by nine per cent compared with the June 2010 show. Bubble London was held at the Business Design Centre from 19 to 20 June.
New features at the June show included a free retail-oriented seminar programme.
ITE Moda acquired Bubble London from Kidding in September 2008 and relocated the show from Olympia to the BDC in 2009. The show runs every January and June.
“We are acutely aware that travel to trade shows is a great commitment of both time and budget for all buyers and we are continually thinking of ways in which we can add value and inspiration to the event,” event director Lindsay Hoyes said. “Since acquiring the event back in 2008, we have ensured that while growing the size of the show to include the best of international brands and seeking out new and innovative products, we have worked hard at retaining its unique personality and the bond it shares with its many supporters in the trade.”
The organiser has also been working to increase long-term marketing and brand interactivity through social media platforms, Hoyes added.
ITE Moda claims international visitors to Bubble London have increased by 39 per cent since 2008, while total footfall has risen by 57 per cent.
ITE’s largest UK show, Moda, has also reported an increase in brands exhibiting at the fashion exhibition this year.
