Marketing Week Live has reported a 26 per cent year-on-year visitor rise at its latest show in London Olympia.
According to organiser Centaur Exhibitions, nearly 13,000 people attended the third edition of the event, held between 29 and 30 June in the Grand Hall. The exhibition incorporated the new Marketing Week Live Village, as well a four other shows: Data Marketing, Insight, In-store and Online Marketing.
The event focuses on new marketing techniques and innovations and boasted live coverage on Marketing Week Live TV. Alongside 450 exhibitors, a conference programme was delivered including several headline industry spokespeople such as Google MD Matt Brittin. This year’s Marketing Week also had its own mobile website.
“It is no exaggeration to say that something special happened at this years’ Marketing Week Live,” portfolio director Paul MacDonald said. “There cannot be many greater challenges than marketing to marketers. I am delighted our business development strategy and tactics worked perfectly and the positioning of the event struck a chord with the UK’s marketing community.”
Earls Court property developer Capital and Counties (CapCo) claims its agreement to acquire London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham (LBHF)’s land within the site is expected within months.
