The Association of Serviced Apartment Providers (ASAP) has confirmed its support of Diversified Communications’ Office exhibition at Earls Court.
The association and three of its member companies will exhibit at a new ASAP village at this year’s edition of the show, which runs from 15 to 16 September.
The organiser has increased the number of exhibitors offering venues and accommodation this year after more than half of the visitors to last year’s show reporting attending in search of such companies.
“The serviced apartment sector is experiencing spectacular growth in 2011 as business travellers increasingly opt for this value-for-money product,” said ASAP’s Joyce Cawthorpe. “The apartment environment – with separate areas to work, eat and sleep – is the perfect fit for the mobile, self-sufficient corporate traveller.”
Contractor Freeman UK and project management firm Mayridge will be part of a forum later this month to discuss the growing roll of creativity in the export of UK events.
Manchester’s EventCity has installed a bespoke Changing Places toilet at the venue providing an easier ‘gold standard’ facility for disabled people and carers to use.
Exhibition organiser ITE Group has said revenues booked for the full year are eight per cent ahead on a like-for-like basis, despite more profitable shows running next year.
