Clarion will debut its first wedding show at the new Bluewater Events Venue in Kent next year.
 
Wedding Week will run from 9 to 12 February 2012 and is aimed at all types of brides. Products on show will include dresses, décor, photography, favours and floral displays.
 
Clarion portfolio director Matt Miller said the retail mall-based events venue is the ideal location to launch the new event concept. Clarion was the first exhibition organiser to commit to launching several consumer shows at Bluewater. Those already announced include the Spirit of Christmas, which opens on 30 November, and the Fine Festive Fair.
 
“Bluewater offers visitors the added benefit of fashion, jewellery and beauty stores and many restaurants; making this show the perfect day out,” Miller claimed.
 
Bluewater is due to open in late November.  Venue director Rebecca Cardozo said it had been working closely with Clarion to develop the new show idea and pointed out thousands of brides already visit Bluewater to buy their wedding essentials.
 
“With an amazing choice of exhibitors and brands – there is something for everyone,” she claimed. “Plus guests can enjoy the added benefit of 330 stores and restaurants already at Bluewater.”
