Farnborough International (FIL) has revealed a rise in sales figures and exhibitor numbers ahead of next year’s international airshow.
Since space went on sale in June, increased numbers of high-end exhibitors have upgraded from hall space to corporate hospitality chalets, while more SME exhibitors are looking at moving from shell-scheme stands to self-build space, the company claimed.
The Farnborough International Airshow (FIA),which takes place from 9 to 15 July, will include a new aviation security zone and a bigger military and civil delegation programme.
“Farnborough International Airshow clients undoubtedly recognise the show as an important part of theircompany marketing strategy,” FIL chief executive Shaun Ormrod said.
“We have also recently experienced a surge of interest from the emerging economies of Brazil, Russia, India and China, and are currently working closely with them on a partnership level to maximise their FIA involvement.”
