Exhibition organiser Prysm Group is launching the new Great British Business Show alongside its longstanding Business Start-Up event at Earls Court in November.
The Great British Business Show is aimed at small to medium-sized businesses looking to take their companies to the next level. It will sit alongside Prysm’s 12-year old Business Start-Up exhibition, which is designed to help those with new business ideas get off the ground. The two shows will run at Earls Court from 17 to 18 November. Marketing manager Tom Borthen said Prysm had 350 exhibitors lined up for both shows including 150 specifically at established businesses. He was confident of attracting 6,000 visitors based on pre-registration information and Prsym’s knowledge of the sector.
The Great British Business Show will feature a seminar programme including 65 entrepreneurs and business leaders such as Hamilton Bradshaw founder James Caan and King of Shaves’ Will King. Other features range from digital marketing and floating on the stock exchange workshops through to networking events.
“The Great British Business Show is a massive area of growth for us,” Borthen told EN. “We also expect to add more areas of business focus and sections as we grow so as to provide an all-encompassing British business show.
“We’ve created this show to take things to the next level and are aiming at people who attended our Start-Up event five or six years ago who might now have 20 staff and ready for the next stage of expansion or development.”
The Great British Business Show will be repeated alongside Prysm’s next Business Start-Up show in May 2012.
Earls Court property developer Capital and Counties (CapCo) claims its agreement to acquire London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham (LBHF)’s land within the site is expected within months.
