Old Spitalfields Market to host first retail exhibition

A design consultancy will host its inaugural exhibition at Old Spitalfields Market in London next May.

Completely Retail Marketplace on 1 May will be the first event organised by Squeeze Design, and the first retail exhibition at Spitalfields. It will target retailers, property agents and landlords.

Squeeze spokeswoman Karen Millar told EN that it is looking for 60 exhibitors, with around 30 slots already reserved.

“There are other retail exhibitions out there, but we feel we needed something more focused,” she said. “We’re hoping for 1,200 visitors.”

Earlier this year, Old Spitalfields Market said it expects to seesignificant growth during 2011.
