More exhibitors and product areas, a dedicated space for the Facilities Show and a new seminar feature will dominate UBM’s suite of management trade exhibitions next year.
Birmingham’s NEC will again host three expos catering specifically for the security, fire, safety and facilities markets in May 2012. The Facilities Show and Safety and Health Expo will run from 15-17 May, while IFSEC International for the security and fire exhibition markets will run from 14-17 May.
Due to the growth of the 2011 show, Facilities Show will be located in its own hall (hall 2), having previously shared an entrance with Safety and Health Expo.
Either side of this will be Safety and Health Expo in hall 1 and IFSEC International in halls 3a, 4 and 5. Facilities Show will also introduce the new CPD Seminar Theatre in association with the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM).
A record 250 exhibitors are expected at the Facilities Show, while IFSEC International has seen stand bookings increase by 12 per cent with 62 new exhibitors so far.
“We at UBM have made a concerted effort to take on-board the 2011 visitor and exhibitor feedback collected both onsite and post-show, which should result in a focused offering for everyone concerned,” said safety and facilities portfolio director Adrian Newton.
“The combination of these three sector specific exhibitions provides a unique opportunity for professionals across the protection and management spectrum to come together. It’s something we’re extremely proud of.”
