Publishing and event company Mara Media has launched a new cycling show for Dublin, Ireland, in May.
The Irish Cycling Show will be at the main hall at the Simmonscourt pavilion in The Royal Dublin Society (RDS) Arena on 19-20 May. Up to 150 exhibitors are expected to take stands at the two-day event, with an estimated 10,000 visitors set to attend.
“There is a gap in the market for cycling shows in Ireland,” Mara MD Hugh Bonner claimed.
The show hopes to have a practice track and interactive elements such as equipment that will allow visitors to measure their power output and lung capacity.
“There’ll also be exhibitors giving advice on nutrition and training methods and so on. The main thing is that we have a wide variety of exhibitors so there’s something for all visitors and fun things to do for both adults and kids,” Bonner added.
Cycling Ireland and Dublin City Council are also expected at the event.
UBM Live is working with London & Partners to create London Technology Week – an annual event to highlight the city’s role as a major technology centre.
London-based event industry exhibition, Square Meal's Venues & Events Live, is to extend the open hours of the first day of its show in response, the organiser says, to calls from the industry.
