Excel London 2

Event organisers will be able to watch pitches from exciting innovations set to hit the outdoor event market at UBM’s new industry exhibition this year.

The International Outdoor Event Expo (IOEX) at Excel
London on 6–8 March will highlight the latest products and services in a 15-minute showcase platform.

“This provides an excellent opportunity to launch new products and services in front of a receptive audience in the live events sector,” said IOEX sales director Mark Gordon.

“From the research we did with focus groups, innovations were something that everyone was keen to hear about so we have developed this show feature to present them all in one place, making it time-effective for organisers.

“We will be putting together a programme of entries to run across the three days so visitors can attend multiple sessions and see the latest innovations.”

Suppliers to the events industry are invited to submit their product or services innovations by 1 February. The concepts must be unpatented or within six months of their launch date.

On 26 January, UBM and IOEX will also unveil the results of the Event Industry Investment Survey 2012. This will be at the South Gallery Room, Excel London from 10am to 1pm.

UBM has confirmed what it claims is a series of industry heavyweights as exhibitors for IOEX.
