Fashion show Pure London will adopt a larger floorplan for its summer edition following the success of its recent three-day stint at Olympia. The latest event, which ran from 12 to 14 February, featured more than 1,000 womenswear, footwear, accessories and young fashion brands. Pure London reported international attendance from Ireland, Germany,France, Spain, Italy, Scandinavia, the US, Australia, Brazil, Japan, Hong Kong and the UAE. Guest speakers included stylist and fashion presenter Antonia O’Brien and designer Zandra Rhodes.
Organiser Emap Connect provided a new smartphone offering for visitors to the show. “This Pure London has been our biggest ever with over 1,000 brands on show,” said event director Sarah Lawrence. “It is known for being a show where people pick up new brands, write orders and enjoy informative seminars that are a source of inspiration for boutiques.” As a result, the show is set to increase its footprint by at least 700sqm for its next edition.
An extra hall on the first floor of Olympia will be opened up, allowing more space for accessories including a French Accessories Pavilion, as well as a new Pure Body section for buyers looking to source lingerie, swimwear, hosiery, leggings, loungewear and casualwear. Pure London has moved its August show to 19 - 21 August to avoid a clash with the London 2012 Olympic Games, which runs 26 July - 12 August. Got a news story for Exhibition News?
