Golf Live has signed a deal with Virgin Atlantic to become a partner for this year’s show.
The event, which will be held at London Golf Club from May 18 to 20, has entered into an exclusive agreement with the airline giant to promote the show. Last year, 12,915 spectators attended the three-day golf event at the Kent venue, situated near the Brands Hatch motor racing course.
As part of its involvement with Golf Live, Virgin Atlantic will provide golfers with interactive experiences during the show including prizes for visitors.
The airline is the second major partner to sign up for this year’s show after tour operator Golfbreaks.com agreed to return for a third year.
“Virgin Atlantic has created a niche for itself in the travel market over the last two decades and we are delighted to be partnering with such an established brand,” said event director for Golf Live James Goode.
Exhibitors confirmed include Titleist, Puma, Srixon, Golfbreaks.com, Celtic Manor Resort, Oakley, TrendyGolf, Druh Belts, Marriott Hotels, St Andrews Golf, Turnberry Resort and many more.
“We’re very keen to demonstrate to golfers the undoubted benefits of flying with Virgin Atlantic and there’s no better place to do this than at Golf Live,” said Virgin Atlantic’s global strategic marketing communications manager Michelle Robinson.
“It has become a must-attend event for UK golfers and is a fantastic opportunity for us to position ourselves alongside the biggest names in thesport.”
