The South of England Showground has taken the wrappers off the refurbishment of its Norfolk Pavilion.
The 1,000sqm exhibition and events space has been given new ceiling tiles, lighting, flooring and a paint job, and now comes with free Wi-Fi access.
“This refurbishment is just the start of our plans for developing the building as an attractive, flexible and fit-for-purpose venue for a wide range of corporate and private events and functions,” South of England Centre’s commercial and marketing director Fiona Malcolm said.
Norfolk Pavilion is one of several spaces on the South of England Centre’s 150-acre site, which also includes other meetings, conference and event facilities. The facelift programme is due to be completed in Spring 2012. The venue is located in West Sussex off the M23.
The venue hopes the regeneration will increase bookings by 15 per cent through the rest of 2012, and by 20 per cent next year.
Alongside the venue works, the South of England Centre has appointed Anise Catering as the site’s new catering providers, with a focus on local producers and suppliers. The supplier will offer a fully bespoke service to clients.
