The organisers of the upcoming London Pet Show have announced a two-thirds rise in exhibitors this year.
The show, which will move from the National Hall at Olympia to Earls Court Two for the event on 12 and 13 May, will have 150 exhibitors this year, a rise of 60. Floorspace will also increase from 5,400sqm to 8,400sqm.
New features include a new area in the Small Furries Zone where people can meet rats, gerbils, rabbits and chinchillas, a new range of birds, and miniature ponies.
“We were quite overwhelmed by the response to this event last year and we have spent a lot of time this year attracting new displays and experiences as we want the visitor experience to be unusual, offering displays that can’t be seen elsewhere all in one place,” said Nicole Cooper, show director at organisers QD Events.
Cooper added that the organisers are expecting 15,000 visitors. Last year’s show attracted 13,460 visitors.
Four De Boer employees paced the streets of London to raise money for a good cause this month.
