Great British Home Show plans Glow launch on Jubilee weekend

DIY, home and garden demonstrations and interior decor products will be among the highlights of the first Great British Home Show at Glow, Bluewater this year.
 
The new consumer show will debut at the new retail-based events venue from 31 May to 4 June to coincide with the Queen’s Jubilee long weekend and is focused on British design and innovation in the home. The event will be divided into zones including bedrooms, kitchens, food, living, bathrooms, gardens, home improvement and the Great British Street Party. 
 
Features include a how-to theatre featuring demonstrations on DIY, home improvement and gardening, along with half-hour seminars from interior designers including Kelly Davies and Zoe Brewer and property journalist Laura Henderson. Department store chain John Lewis will also create a feature living room, with Englishwine producer Chapel Down providing bar facilities and tastings. has secured Anglian Home Improvements as its headline sponsor
 
The Great British Home Show is being organised by Inmotions Exhibitions, a new exhibition organiser that was formerly part of the All About Brands agency collective.
 
“We have a fantastic line-up for The Great British Show, with household names joining a wide range of exhibitors to create something quite unique for visitors to Glow and Bluewater over the Diamond Jubilee weekend,” Inmotions Exhibitions commercial director Christine Davidson said.
