Ideal Home Show website extends show profile

Ideal home show

The Ideal Home Show has launched an ecommerce website to increase the scope of Media 10 show’s brand.

The Ideal Home Show Online Shop will offer online shopping for homeowners, showcasing more than 1,000 products from suppliers. It will offer indoor and outdoor furniture, soft furnishings, lighting, bedding, storage, garden gadgets and tools, homeware and cookware, gadgets and gifts.

“We see our brand extension as an opportunity for people who are not show goers at the moment to see what it’s all about,” said publishing director Justin Levett, one of the original Media 10 founders.

“Lee Newton [Media 10 MD] has said many times to us that in this industry, too many organisers are guilty of trying to fish in the same pond.

“Brand extensions like this give us a chance to increase our pond.”

Levett added the new website will champion products that represent the demands of the growing audience of online shoppers aged 32-56.

Media 10 highlighted the rise in visitor spending at this year’s Ideal Home Show.
