Three more venues have signed up to adopt the Association of Event Venues’ eGuide, which aims to create consistent standards for individuals and companies working onsite at adopting venues.
The ACC Liverpool, Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) and Harrogate International Centre (HIC) are the latest venues to take on the standards. Manchester Central took on the AEV guide last year. “We are constantly reviewing how to improve customer experience and adopting the eGuide will provide our clients with useful information and guidance on health, safety, operational planning, management and on-site conduct,” said ACC Liverpool head of events Tom Lechthaler.
“The eGuide, which replaces our compliance handbook, will allow us to assist clients to deliver their events safely and efficiently as part of our ongoing commitment to enhance customer service.”
AEV director Chris Skeith said the guide is continually evolving, helped by a dedicated eGuide technical committee to ensure it’s up-to-date.
“We are delighted to see such a wide range of different types and sizes of event, meeting and exhibition venues adopting the eGuide, across the length and breadth of the UK,” he said.
The eGuide is free to download from the AEV website. Got a story for Exhibition News? Email us: exhibitionnews@mashmedia.net |
