International Confex 2012 holds first Buyer Advisory Board

International Confex held its first Buyer Advisory Board earlier this month.
Key themes discussed by the panel, hosted at The Dorchester Hotel in London, included educational content, the facilitation of networking opportunities throughout the week and ways in which International Confex can build on its position as the meeting place for the UK meetings and events market.The next Confex Buyer Advisory Board will take place on 27 September.
“It is vital that we shape International Confex to meet the buyer’s requirements and the Buyer Advisory Board is an integral part of that,” said UBM Event Manager James Samuel. “They are the people that can give us the best steer on the speakers they want to listen to, the networking they want to attend and the exhibitors they want to see.”
Contractor Freeman UK and project management firm Mayridge will be part of a forum later this month to discuss the growing roll of creativity in the export of UK events.
