Marketing Week 2012

More than 13,000 visitors attended Centaur’s Marketing Week Live show, up six per cent from last year.

There were 475 exhibitors at the trade show at Olympia on 27 and 28 June, an increase from 2011’s figure of 400. The organiser reported 13,396 visitors across the two-day event.

This year’s speaker line-up included Nokia’s Steven Overman on refreshing an icon, Costa Coffee’s Jim Slater on perfecting his customer focus and Diageo’s Syl Saller on innovating marketing strategies.

“I am absolutely delighted with the performance of Marketing Week Live 2012, the fourth edition of the event and by far our most rounded, wholesome and successful,” said Marketing Week Live event director Paul MacDonald.

“We have worked tirelessly over the last four years to create an event that is in tune with modern marketers and I am excited by what the future holds for the show.”

New elements for 2013 will include a
career development area, GROW, dedicated to nourishing the marketing professional’s career with free advice on how to get ahead in marketing.

“Marketing Week Live is the key destination to learn about all the innovations and trends within marketing now,” said Centaur Exhibitions marketing manager Hazel Willis.

“We are lucky enough to be working with some of the best suppliers, many of whom are launching cutting edge technologies and products at the show.”

Zing Insights was awarded the research contract for Marketing Week Live 2012.
