Niche trade show organiser Prysm Group will launch two new exhibitions alongside its business show brands this year.
Accountex, which is aimed at accountants in practice and in business, is backed by several industry associations including the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICEAW), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Business Application Software Developers Association (BASDA) and the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA). It is expected to attract up to 3,000 visitors and 100 exhibitors.
The latest show will be complemented by Sales Director Live, a new exhibition focused on professionals leading sales teams. Prysm expects to secure 80 exhibitors and 4,000 attendees to the event, which it claims fills a gap in the market for senior sales professionals.
Accountex and Sales Director Live will both feature a seminar programme looking into industry trends and business tools such as LinkedIn, new technologies, selling overseas, recruitment, auditing and financial reporting, and taxation.
The two new events will be co-located with the organiser’s longstanding Business Start-Up show from 22 to 23 November at Olympia. Prysm also launched the new Great British Business Show alongside its existing trade show at Earls Court last November, attracting 25,300 visitors (unaudited) in total.
“These are exciting times for The Prysm Group,” MD Nick Moss said. “The Business Show is growing rapidly and launching two complementary events has given us a new focus for growth.”
