Cardozo joined Bluewater in May 2010 after several years working in the exhibition industry including a stint with William Reed Business Media. She was appointed a few months after the retail site’s owner Lend Lease announced plans for the 5,200sqm venue.
Bluewater general manager Robert Goodman thanked Cardozo for her hard work and commitment over the last 23 months incorporating the launch of Glow. A replacement is expected to be announced shortly.
“Having opened Glow, the focus is now on building a critical mass of experiential events and exhibitions that complement Bluewater’s offer, while at the same time providing existing and potential visitors with something new,” Goodman told EN.
“To meet this objective, the Glow team has expanded, in particular with the creation of a dedicated sales team. We are also in the final stages of appointing a general manager of Glow.”
EN understands Cardozo is in discussion with several companies regarding her next move.
