Springboard Events' show Scotland’s Trade Fair Spring is refreshing its format for next year.
The new layout will break the show up into three sections: home and giftware; clothing, textiles and jewellery; and speciality food.
Running down the centre of all these will be the Launch Gallery – a specially constructed area for companies under two years old.
The show will be at the SECC in Glasgow from 20-22 Jan 2013.
“Every few years it is important to refresh shows to avoid a “same old, same old” feeling creeping in,” said Springboard Events director Mark Saunders.
“The new layout is very simple and logical. It offers retailers a fresh look to the show and will make sourcing products even easier.”
The show is expected to attract almost 5,000 visitors over thethree days.
Contractor Freeman UK and project management firm Mayridge will be part of a forum later this month to discuss the growing roll of creativity in the export of UK events.
Manchester’s EventCity has installed a bespoke Changing Places toilet at the venue providing an easier ‘gold standard’ facility for disabled people and carers to use.
Exhibition organiser ITE Group has said revenues booked for the full year are eight per cent ahead on a like-for-like basis, despite more profitable shows running next year.
