ICHF Events is bringing its Cake International show to EventCity, Manchester in March 2013.
The event, from 8 to 10 March, follows the organiser’s first London Cake International at Excel London in April, which claimed 14,000 visitors (unaudited). The brand will return for its second edition at Excel from 12 to 14 April 2013.
The organiser also runs events at The NEC, with the next edition of Cake International running from 9 to 11 November. It will be co-located with ICHF’s Crafts for Christmas, Hobbycrafts and Art Materials Live from 8 to 11 November.
“We have had fantastic success with Cake International over the last few years,” said Show organiser Simon Burns. “Visitor numbers at The NEC show have increased by 72 per cent over the last two years and the first Excel show was better than we could have ever imagined.
“There is clearly such a demand for cake decorating and baking shows thanks to the revival of home baking and we are thrilled to be able to bring this to Manchester for the first time.”
ICHF Events is also launching two new shows this autumn – Prima Homemade – The Creative Stitches and Hobbycrafts Show at Glow, Bluewater from 6 to 9 September 2012, and Woman’s Weekly Live! The Creative Stitches and Hobbycrafts Show which is also taking place at EventCity, Manchester from 13 to 15 September.
Contractor Freeman UK and project management firm Mayridge will be part of a forum later this month to discuss the growing roll of creativity in the export of UK events.
Manchester’s EventCity has installed a bespoke Changing Places toilet at the venue providing an easier ‘gold standard’ facility for disabled people and carers to use.
