Chocolate makers will have a chance to become National Chocolate Master and compete at the World Chocolate Masters in Paris in 2013 at the Speciality and Fine Food Fair at Olympia next month.
The new addition to the show from 2 to 4 September, will run alongside live cookery demonstrations by chefs in the Fine Food Forum, educational seminars in the Small Business Forum, free one-to-one expert advice sessions in the Small Business Forum and an opportunity to taste products from the Great Taste Awards.
More than 600 exhibitors are expected at the show, organised by Fresh Montgomery, which is targeted at high quality trade buyers for artisan food and drink. Last year it posted an ABC audited figure of 10,610 visitors.
“We are hugely excited about this year’s Speciality and Fine Food Fair, 2012 is set to be our biggest exhibition yet, showcasing even more exhibitors and bringing together some of the most exciting names and brands in the industry,” said event manager Soraya Gadelrab.
Contractor Freeman UK and project management firm Mayridge will be part of a forum later this month to discuss the growing roll of creativity in the export of UK events.
Manchester’s EventCity has installed a bespoke Changing Places toilet at the venue providing an easier ‘gold standard’ facility for disabled people and carers to use.
