Entertainment and installation technology event The Plasa Show has added to its professional development programme.

The 80 free-to-attend sessions will be available at Earls Court on 9-12 September, and will be divided into 10 categories including emerging technologies, future trends and sustainability.

Networking for Roadies, presented by Wayne Howell, will focus on the use of Ethernet and networking in the lighting industry and should benefit designers, technicians or electricians.

"The new-style programme forms a roadmap for the next 12 months in theatre, live concert and touring, live events and installed environments,” said Plasa CEO Matthew Griffiths.

Plasa reported steady visitor attendance at its 2011 exhibition at Earls Court, buoyed by a range of new interactive features.
