The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) has launched The Public Relations Show, the first event of its kind for the UK public relations profession.

Taking place on 26 November at London's Business Design Centre (BDC), The Public Relations Show will bring together more than 1,000 public relations professionals to network, collaborate and discover the latest tools, trends and solutions in the industry.

Centered around professional development, with threespeaker tracks, The Public Relations Show will also feature a free exhibition of leading suppliers of public relations products and services, and various other show features including tasters of CIPR training workshops; a public relations advice clinic; careers centre; and a social media surgery.

“The Public Relations Show is set to be the biggest event in the public relations calendar,” said Jane Wilson, chief executive officer at the CIPR. “This is an ambitious project and the first event of its type in our profession with the sole aim of bringing this many practitioners together to learn from, network and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the business.

“For potential exhibitors, The Public Relations Show offers a cost-effective and dynamic platform to showcase leading products and services, generate new leads and increase their visibility in an expanding sector of influence.”

The show will be organised in-house as a collaborative project between the events, communications and marketing teams.

The Casual Dining Show is another new launch set for the BDC.
