Internet World moves to Excel

Internet World 2013

UBM Live London, organiser of Internet World and The Big Data Show has revealed the exhibition will move to Excel in 2014.

The move from Earls Court is timed to coincide with London Technology Week, a new initiative hosted in East London aimed to unite the technology and digital community for a week of events and activity.

Internet World and The Big Data Show will be from 17-19 June 2014 and will cover a range of topics including digital marketing, ecommerce, cloud, hosting, social media, mobile, content management and big data.

The Internet World show has been running for more than twenty years while The Big Data Show was launched this year to tackle big data issues of corporates.

“We are really excited to be bringing these events to east London, into the heart of the technology community,” said UBM Live London group director transport and technology Adrian Newton. “With a huge focus on east London as the driving force for technology and digital brands in the UK it is important for us to align these shows closer to their core audience.”

UBM Live is also due to announce an additional, content-driven event in the coming weeks, which will also form part of London Technology Week. The inaugural Tech Transformation Summit will be a forum for high-level discussions of the industry’s strategic issues.

“Industry response to the move has already been hugely positive,” Newton added. “Our key exhibitors and partners have been fully supportive of the move and we are already looking at new ways to refresh, innovate and enhance our current offering.”
