Childcare Expo showing on Broadway
posted on: 18/11/2009 17:16:37

The newly-formed Broadway Events has launched Childcare Expo, its first trade exhibition.

Taking place at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena in September 2010, the exhibition and networking event will cater for the childcare and nursery sector, which was worth an estimated £3.9bn in 2008.

This is the first exhibition from Emma Barrett who launched Broadway Events after eight years of organising shows in the UK, including the Care Show before it was acquired by UBM and the Nursery Show, which runs at Bournemouth International Centre in June.

“I already have the background and contacts and running the show in Coventry in September won’t affect the Nursery Show,” she says.

According to Barrett, there are 1,200 nurseries and day centres in the West Midlands and she expects the 2,000sqm show to attract 80 exhibitors and 1,500 visitors.

Childcare Expo runs from 28-29 September.
