NEW CONTRACTORS WILL NEED ESSA MEMBERSHIP TO WORK WITH FARNBOROUGH

ESSA farnborough 1

Any new contractors wanting to work with Farnborough International at its FIVE venue moving forward will need to have an Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) membership.

Head of operations Jonathan Smith made the announcement at the final ESSA Drop In session of 2010, saying that the move will provide both the company and the venue with “required quality control assurances”.

“We wanted to create a benchmark of standards for all contractors who work on our events. As ESSA has a series of rigorous processes in place before a company can become a member, it has both credibility and value,” Smith added.

The Drop-In session saw over 20 companies in attendance.
